A Special Farm Thanks

My Dad took my kids to a friend's house to see their farm. We learned after, how wrong we were (and we had a good chuckle). They did have a barn and 2 horses... even a few ducks. Other than it being about 10 acres, it looked like it was far from being a farm. (LOL)
So my Dad asked me to make a special Thank You card to send to his friend.
Here is the card...

Beary Special Cards

Hello Friends and Stampers,

I was able to get some stamping done recently... nothing like deadlines as motivation.
These are for a swap I joined on a yahoo group. This is a stamp set that will be available in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Mini Catalog, beginning on Tuesday, September 1st.
I don't actually own the set... a wonderful girlfriend, Nora, stamped some images for me,
so that I could join the swap.
The Bermuda Blue and Melon Mango (Blue and Pink) - 2 of the 2009-10 In Colors is the one for the swap.
The other two (done in Red Riding Hood, Kiwi Kiss, and Chocolate Chip) are extras... one for the hostess and one for Nora for stamping the images for me.

New Swiss Pixie Stamps

I saw these cute girls at www.allthatscraps.com
and then did a Make-n-Take using one of them at the Rubber Stamp Expo in Novi earlier this month.

The mermaid is not really a Swiss Pixie, but isn't she just as cute?
Her name is Emma... so of course my Emmalee wanted her too

OOPS.. I have no idea why the one is upside down
and to be honest I'm not sure how to fix it... LOL

That one is to help you get your exercise today... practice your Yoga (Downward Dog) or stand on your head

If only I had more hours in the day...
then I could stamp more AND keep up with my Blog
