Year End Teacher Gifts for my kid's teachers

YIKES

Ok - I'm behind on updating my blog.
I'm sorry... I am disappointed when life gets too busy to keep up
but love life, so can only stay disappointed for a short while.

Here is a pic of ONE the swap cards I made for the
SCS MICHIGAN MINGLER weekend that was March 27-29, 2009

HOORAY... I've actually had time to STAMP!!
My Sale-a-bration pre-order arrived and I came up with these cards.
(The 3rd one - with the Hardware Frame - was for a Swap I joined)
The other 2 were just for FUN!!

All 3 use the Sale-a-Bration set called "Botanical Blooms"
and the Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper "Delicate Dots"

More creating needs to be done... Until then...

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Ok, I'm a bit embarrassed at how long it's been since I've posted.
Darn LIFE always gets in the way of my creative plans and ideas. LOL

Well... The NEW Stampin' Up! catalog starts tomorrow. I'm so sad mine won't be here until mid-end of this week, so you bet I'll be looking at it on-line (www.stampinup.com)
or borrowing one from a fellow demo :-) I always prefer to look at it in paper version, but I'll have to do whatever I can.

I have a wish list started, and need to start my swap cards for a stamping weekend I'll be attending at the end of March. Oh, but I guess I'd better think about Valentines first. I don't think I'll be stamping Valentines for all my kid's classmates this year. I just have no time :-( but I am HOPING to at least stamp a few special treats for my children's teachers. I think I can do 3 treats! LOL

I'd also like to play with some new stamps I have arriving this week...
Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration sets (pre-ordered) and some non SU stamps...
SALE-A-BRATION STARTS FEBRUARY 1st - before ya know it... free sets for all*

As soon as I get some stamping done, I'll be sure to post. It may be a couple weeks, but before Valentines Day, I hope to have something to show you.

Until then, stay warm (especially if you're from Michigan and surrounding states)

Holiday Cheer - A Challenge

HEre is what I worked on today! I found a link (can't even remember exactly where) but it lead to a cool blog/website for card sketches. They have a challenge going on, so I decided to give it a try.
This is my card based on their sketch.
The link to them is:

Thanks for looking. And Thanks to Kazan for the sketch.

Ok - My newest Stamped creations

Here's what I've been working on (CASE-ing)... Thanks my friends at S.C.S.

What's been happening?

Wow... another busy month-6 weeks has flown by. What have I been up to??

Well - I became a TASTEFULLY SIMPLE consultant. They had a great sign-up deal, and I LOVE their products, so I figured I'd give it a try. Since I started with Stampin Up! over 9 years ago - I forgot some of the start up work. It's keeping me busy.
OF COURSE, If you want to order or host a Taste-Testing party, Please give me a call. I'd LOVE the opportunity to show you their newest products. I'd also be GRATEFUL for the help it would provide me.

I've been busy with the kid's school... being a Lunch Mom (3 days a week). It's pretty easy... and fun to watch the kids enjoy their favorite parts of the day.

I have been fortunate enough to get some stamping done... although not as much as I would like.
I've also been introduced to Facebook... what a fun "time sucker". I enjoy it, and often have it open while at my desk stamping :-) *Love multi-tasking!*

I'll scan some of the latest cards I've been stamping and share them.
