Ok, last group of projects to post :-)

Here are projects created back in January/February 2010
to catch my blog up,

If you saw the last post, you've seen me use this bird punch
from Stampin' Up!
I love it!

Made these 3... just "goofing" around
SU!'s RMHC set for 2009-2010

I purchased a Cricut used when a friend from SCS upgraded to the bigger one
so I finally pulled it out and figured out how to use it
Had fun cutting - and was able to make a bunch of cards with what i cut
(this is just one of many, all similar but different... didn't think I should post them ALL)

I got to design a Make-n-Take card
for the SCS Michigan Mingle
Here was an early draft... pretty close to what I ended up doing
I think the only things different are;
I used different flowers/stems, and added ribbon under the vase.

January 4th, my cousin Shawn passed away at only 35
A real shock to me - left a HUGE hole in my heart and life
so I tried to make a special card for his family
(It's SOOOO hard to make sympathy cards "on demand"
and even more difficult when your heart is hurt & not into stamping)

More (older) projects

Here are some I made back in February/March

This one was for a SCS color challenge
the faux leather belt was a tutorial I learned on there
and was able to use it here
(the tutorial was for a faux leather purse)

This one I made for my friend Jill - who's loved dog, Bear,
was very sick, and has since passed :-(

These faux suede flowers were taught to me by my friend Debra on SCS

This one uses Stampin' Up!'s extra large bird punch
(from the Occasions Mini Catalog)
and the scallop edge punch
(from the Sale-a-bration Mini Catalog)

I forgot where I saw the original of this one
but I know I CASE'd the design
(probably off SCS somewhere... if it's yours, I'm sorry.
If i had posted back when i made it, I might have remembered)

Ok - I'll check back one more month - January's projects
and catch myself up
And hopefully I won't get so behind again...
HA HA HA

Finally Posting some pictures

I've had a couple weeks of good stamping MOJO...
Here are some of the my recent projects
(I've been working feverishly, because I'm hoping to have a booth at the Mom's Night Out Vendor Show at my children's school on Friday, April 30th)

Shhhhh...
This one is for my Grandma's 90th birthday next month
J/K - I'm not worried she'll be on-line checkign out my blog... LOL

This one is one I started out not happy with - my stamping was "off", so i watercolored over my spotty stamping, and it looks AWESOME, like I watercolored the whole thing :-)
I love happy mistakes

I love this new set & matching die, and textured plates

This one was inspired my a stamping friend Kelicat (the flower), but mine is so different than hers, I may need to ask her to show me how she did her flower...

Another with the fun new set and die I was enjoying thAlign Centeris week.
Thanks for stopping by...
more older cards coming
(that I made but never had the chance to post)

A New Year

Hello and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I'm not a huge fan of resolutions, I can make them, but not usually keep them, successfully.
I try, and for now - that has to count for something... LOL

I'm making 2 resolutions today... one to work out more. I work at a fitness club, so that seems like an easy one - but after working a shift, I usually just want to GO HOME and not hang out even longer. I do have my new schedule though, and see at least 3 days where i can go in a little early and get some time on a treadmill or eliptical.

The second is to update this blog more. I did actually get all my Christmas cards made and sent out (a few went out later than I would've liked, but they made it out before NYE).
So finding time to stamp is not usually the problem - I just need to find time to scan or photograph them and post them.

So, lets see how long I can do it...
